Born in Dubai - UAE, I completed my degree from University of Central Lancashire (UCLAN) from Preston -United Kingdom. After completion, I returned to Bangalore - India and since then I've worked for a number of small to large organisations, solving their complex issues and leading teams through its implementation.
At Confluent, I'm currently defining Kafka Connect experience for Data in Motion through the 70+ connectors supported on Confluent Cloud.
Previously I was a Principal User Experience designer at RSA Security, where I led the vision and design for Netwitness' XDR (Cloud) administrative experience within the cyber security domain. I also led the Threat Analyst experience while integrating ECAT’s Endpoint Security and Fortscale's UEBA (User Entity Behaviour Analytics) into NetWitness.
My day to day responsibilities include:
Defining product vision and design leadership while coordinating with a multi-disciplinary team that covers Product SMEs, Product Management, Engineering and Documentation across geographies
Create guidelines, best practises and repeatable design patterns that enable faster implementation, reducing design time cycles - improving overall design and usability
Collaborate with scrum teams on release/feature planning, backlog grooming and being primary point of contact for Confluent's UX team in India
Monitoring and holding Product and Engineering teams accountable for individual features and product direction through continuous collaboration
Guide and mentor designers in team and help them achieve success while staying true to the overall product vision
Over the last 14 years I've defined end to end experiences for Kafka Connect @ Confluent, Cyber Security (EDR, UEBA, XDR) @ RSA Security, Website Security (TLS/SSL & PKI) @ Symantec , Clinical Healthcare Solutions @ Cerner, HRMS @ Honeywell along with a few others.
