Managers spend a lot of time sifting through resumes and conducting preliminary interviews to find candidates with the right attitude and behavior for a role. The objective of this tool is to help reduce time to interview by knowing the top behaviors of high performing employees with similar roles within the organization and use that as a baseline to assess new candidates. Behaviors are assessed through yearly 9 Block rating systems that Honeywell uses for its employee appraisals. The appraisal data from the rating system forms the intelligence for the interview guide. Define data flow from multiple points like requisition form, interview KB articles to provide a smarter solution to creating a guide.

As I worked on defining the solution and its features, my extended team (US) and I also conducted a competitive analysis of the current technologies in the market to make sure we don't spend time building a solution from ground up if another platform could do it out of the box.
This analysis also gave us the edge to justify the need for investment into a new in-house solution from the executive leadership.
